Consignment Checklist For Adult Clothing

Helpful Tips to ensure the most $$$ for your consigned items:

• LIMIT 20 ADULT CLOTHING ITEMS PER CONSIGNOR FOR US TO VIEW. Please don't bring more than 20 clothing items, shoes, belts, or purses unless they are brand new.

• Please continue to check the Trunk Treasures Website for updated information!!!

• Consignors receive 60% of the selling price of items sold.

• Consignors are invited to shop the day before the sale opens to the public.

• All clothing must be in excellent condition and in current style.

• Clothing must be freshly cleaned (no odors - moth balls, smoke), ironed, and on hangers. The hanger hook should face the left looking like a "question ? mark".  Please check all buttons and zippers.  We can not accept items that are worn, pilled, stained or wrinkled - even if it is an expensive brand.

• Place a piece of masking tape on the upper right side of the garment, as you are looking at it, with your account number and the size of the item.  (Ex: Men's 16 XL, Petite 6) before you arrive for you appointment. See the graphic at the bottom of this page.

• Please do not use computer labels. They do not stick well.  We will not accept items with computer labels rather than masking tape.

• Adult Clothing needs to be grouped by Tops, Skirts, Pants, and Two piece Outfits.   Please separate items by size (smallest to largest) and label with masking tape before you arrive for your appointment.

• Fall and Winter items only!

• Shoes must be in current season and in excellent condition inside and outside with no scuff marks. Place masking tape with your account number and shoe size in the heel of each shoe.

• Only items with a value of $3.00 or more will be accepted.

• Accepting Men's, Women's, Teen's & Maternity Clothing and Accessories.

• Adult pants must be hung over a wire hanger and labeled.  Hangers with cardboard insets work well to hold the pants in place.  Capri pants need to be hung by the waist. Skirt hangers with clips work well.  We will be limiting Women's jeans.  Skirt hangers with clips work great!

• Please do not sure the very small micro safety clips.

• Current style Polo/button-down shirts and shorts that are in excellent condition with no pilling or stains around the neck sell well.  Men's suits, sports coats, pants (unless new with tags) are not accepted.

• We will not be accepting adult clothing from Walmart, Kmart, Target, Mountain Lake or Canyon Blues.

• We are looking for your best QUALITY and BRANDS - we are selective!   We reserve the right to refuse any items...   All items must be gently used, like new!
