I am a wife and mom of three children.  I have always been a thrifty mom, but when I found out I was about to have twins I knew I really needed to save and make money.  My neighbor was a consignor and shopper at Trunk Treasures.  She introduced me to the idea of buying and selling my kids' clothing through consignment in 1992 when my twins were infants.  Ever since then I have been a consistent consignor and shopper.

Over the years I helped work at Trunk Treasures and always had a great time.  When the opportunity to buy Trunk Treasures was presented I had been working in a special education class for 11 years.  I loved working with the children but was ready for a change.  We decided the purchase of Trunk Treasures would be a family opportunity to work together and own a business.  I have enjoyed the learning experience and meeting so many wonderful people at the store.  Our goal is to help you make money, find great items for the entire family, and serve our community with our business.

Trunk Treasurers is such a special place to me and I feel very blessed to be a part of the family. I have been shopping at Trunk Treasures for about 20 years. I remember standing outside of the old drug store building so excited about the doors opening and finding a name brand outfit at an affordable price. Not only did I shop at Trunk Treasures I helped my mom prepare and take my twin brothers and my clothing to the store. They always teased me when I came in that one day I would work as an actual employee.

I started working before I had my driver's license. My mom would drop me off at the store to work and Cookie and Danny would drive me home. All the ladies at Trunk Treasures instantly became like my family. We had a wonderful time working together. They treated me like their own children. The Trunk Treasures family had a surprise graduation party for me and even had a special section at my wedding. The time we spent together was extremely special and they often said I was the boss. When the opportunity came for Cookie and Danny to retire my family and I felt honored to take over Trunk Treasures. Taking over the store has been a bittersweet experience for me. I miss everyone but I am honored to own such an incredible business.
