How much do consignor’s make?

• 60% of their sales 

Is there a consignor’s fee?

• No 

What happens if I can’t make it to my appointment?

• It is very helpful for you to come at your assigned time. However, we understand that things happen. Please give us a call and we will try to reschedule your appointment. 

How long does it take to bring my items in?

• Typically we can get you in and out of the store in 15-20 minutes. If you have more than 50 items it will take about 30-40 minutes. 

Can consignors price their items?

• We typically price items for you but if you want to price one item or all your items you can do this when you come to the store. Just let someone know that is your preference. At our This & That sale we ask you to help us price items as you bring them in.

What sales do you have that I can consign in?

• Trunk Treasures has five sales a year.  We have a spring/summer & fall/winter children’s sale including infant to junior sizes. Then, we have an adult clothing sale which includes toys & baby equipment. Each spring Trunk Treasures has a This & That sale, which is home accessories, garden items, exercise equipment, tools, etc. 

What do I need to consign clothing?

• Quality items you want to sell, masking tape, safety pins, and hangers. 

How can I make more money for my clothing items?

• Make sure all items are neatly hung. Button all buttons, and zip all zippers. Try to get fuzz off items. The nicer the items look the better they will sell.

Do you take monogrammed items?

• If your item only has one letter or is a common name Trunk Treasures will except the item. More than one letter, unusual names, and spelling of names just do not sell well. 

What name brands do you except?

• We are looking for name brand and boutique clothing. We are very selective in girls' sizes 10 to junior and the adult clothing. In these sizes we do not take Wal-Mart, K-mart, Mountain Lake, Canyon River Blues.

How can I make more money for my toys & baby equipment?

• Make sure you clean up your items. Print directions and a picture off the internet for items that need to be put together. Then package so people can see the picture.

Can I bring car seats?

• We only take car seats if it is with a 3 in 1 set. Car seats are often recalled.
